PROGRAM DATES

CONDITIONS of ENROLMENT

Application

Please complete the application form and submit it, and then pay for the entire appropriate fees, which are enrolment, tuition and accommodation fee and so on if requesting.

*If you will study at GGC as a student on a student visa, please read below carefully.

1.     Send us the completed GGC Application Form. You must enrol in a full-time course for more than 12 weeks to be qualified for your student visa.

2.     We will reserve your place in the course and notify you of your acceptance with an invoice.

3.     No later than 6 weeks prior to the course commencement, you pay the invoice in full.

4.     We will then send you an electronic Confirmation of Enrolment (eCoE), which you will need to obtain a student visa.

5.     You should then apply for the student visa from the Australian Embassy. Allow at least 4 weeks for the visa to be issued.

Orientation

GGC accepts new students each session. All students take a mandatory placement test and an oral interview the first Monday of every session. An orientation to the school and the area is also provided. Student only need to bring writing implement.

General Condition

Read and understand the ‘Refund Policy’ and ‘Conditions of Enrolment’ on the Application for Enrolment form. If you agree to these terms please sign and date the form (signatures of students under 18 years of age must be accompanied by the signature and date of their guardian)

Course Extension

Course extensions are possible. The sooner (7 day notice) you apply, the better chances for you to reserve a seat in the program of your choice. All additional course fees must be paid directly to GGC or through your representative agent.

FEES and SERVICES

Payment of Fees

All tuition, related fees must be paid before your course begins.

The enrolment fee is not refundable and is paid only once.

Textbooks

Textbooks must be purchased or borrowed for all Full-Time, Part-Time, Ticket Courses and some Special Courses. Prices vary by course (teaching materials are inclusive).

Accommodations

GGC offers accommodation in homestays and student accommodation. GGC also can help students look for a residence.

Accommodations Cancellation Policy

If you cancel 21 days or more in advance 100% of fees will be refunded. The homestay placement fee will not be refunded if you do not cancel 21 days or more in advance. A minimum of 2 weeks notice is required for cancellation. 100% of homestay fees (minus the homestay placement fee) from two weeks after notification will be refunded. Please refer to the refund policy (Application for Enrolment form)

Airport Service

GGC can provide airport service with a representative greeting you at the airport and transporting you to your accommodation. We must receive your flight information at least 7 days prior to your arrival to provide airport transfer service. If we receive your flight information less than seven days prior to your arrival, we may not be able to provide the service. Transfer fees will not be refunded if you fail to inform us of any changes in your itinerary at least 2 business days prior to your arrival. If GGC fails to provide pick-up as agreed, compensation shall not exceed the original transfer fee.

 

Liability

GGC and its staff and representatives will not be liable for loss, damage or injury to persons or property, however caused, except where liability is expressly imposed beyond exclusion by statute. GGC will not be liable in the event that services contracted become impossible to supply by reason of any cause outside of the control of GGC.

DEFERMENT of STUDIES

Students are entitled to leave (a maximum of 4 week, unless there are compassionate or compelling circumstances) upon approval of the Director of Studies. Refer to ‘Condition of taking a Holiday’

*Provider default is covered by the provisions of the ESOS Act 2000 and the ESOS Regulations 2001.

Conditions of taking a holiday

1.     Meet with the Director of Studies to discuss the reason, length, conditions etc for the deferral of study.

2.     Forfeit all rights to refund of course fees, unless there are compassionate or compelling circumstances.

3.     4 weeks is the maximum total length of deferral, unless there are compassionate or compelling circumstances.

4.     In the event that the total length of deferral exceeds 4 weeks, unless there are compassionate or compelling circumstances your studies will be cancelled with out refund.

5.     Contact the Director of Studies 2 weeks prior to recommencing your studies
